I’ve always been a lover of life, that goes without question if you want to experience fun, attend a rugby event, be it local or international, but I would always recommend an international match. It much fun and adrenaline packed.

I’m privileged to work with the most international company in the world that has is the official logistics partner of World Cup Rugby. So, when I saw an opportunity to host a Rugby match, I grabbed it and my journey started. I sent my application and they liked it, it wasn’t long when I received a congratulations message. I had been chosen to host the match and they would supply me with a rugby kit to be used on the match day. How ecstatic I got, it’s like i'd won a lottery. Made a few calls to by friends more like consultation. Well in the end I had to come up with a team. Team red and yellow, which of course represents the official DHL colours.
My first thought went to Shamas Rugby foundation. I love their vision and what they are doing for young boys and girls. I will not dilute what they do but let you read all about them on their website as :
I had 2 proxies who helped me organize all this. Tende and Tony, both are Rugby players from local rugby teams. I involved them because they know more of rugby than I do, I’m more of a fan, I love watching rugby whilst having a good time with friends and a drink on my left hand. Hahaha.
This was sooo much fun than i had expected. I even had some few rewards for the winners and the best player of the game. you could tell from the boys faces that they loved it. I loved it too. DHL loves Rugby and so do we.
We finally finished the tournament and took some lovely photos, exchanged ideas and contacts a very great opportunity for marketing and networking.
Well I hope these lovely kids get a chance to go to Japan and watch the RWC2019.
